Kelly Martin

Kelly Martin and The Haywire Hopefuls are a recording project centered around Kelly Martin’s songwriting. The Haywire Hopefuls are a revolving and evolving group of musicians stemming from Brazil, Canada, and the United States. The recording process starts with a demo containing Kelly’s guitar and vocal parts. The Hopefuls then use that demo to create and add their parts using the website GrooveZoo.com. After all the parts are recorded, they are sent to Kelly who mixes and masters the songs. He then digitally vomits his songs to as many people and places he can throughout the web. Kelly is always looking for new people to work with, so if you are interested in being part of The Haywire Hopefuls, contact us through our Contact page.

Kelly was one of two singer songwriters for the Boise-based band CrashFour. After nine years, four albums, playing over 400 shows, performing at SXSW, being sponsored by Budweiser and Bose, being represented by the College Agency, and sharing the stage with Collective Soul, Phantom Planet, Sugar Land, Ben Lee, Left Over Salmon, Young Dubliners, Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers, Built to Spill, moe, and REO Speedwagon, Kelly Martin is now working on his singer and songwriter solo career.
